  • Do you cover all of California?
    Yes! While our offices are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, our technicians are dispatched from their places of residence, and cover a geographical area from that location. In some cases we have contractural relationships with independent contractors who have undergone the same rigorous training and certification as our own technicians.
  • Are you licensed?
    Yes! We carry both an electrical contractors license and an alarm company operators license. C10 - 798959 A C10 is a high voltage electrical license. Issued by the CSLB (California State Licensing Board) ACO-4669 An ACO is a alarm company operators license. Issued by the DCA (California Department of Consumer Affairs)
  • How long have you been in business?
    West Coast Security, Inc. has been in business since June 2001. Our founders have been in the industry since 1991 and still remain in active management of the company.
  • Do you accept credit cards?
    Yes, we accept all major credit cards.
  • Do you offer credit terms?
    For our commercial and government customers we do offer Net30 payment terms upon approved credit, and in some instances we may waive any required deposits. For residential customers we require payment upon delivery.
  • May I pay my bill online?
    Yes, you may pay online here.
  • Does your intrusion or fire alarm systems require landline telephone service?
    No, West Coast Security, Inc., offers both landline and cellular connectivity to stay connected to our monitoring center. In case of a power outage, you’ll want to have cellular connectivity so it works during inclement weather, and even prevents outage from phone line tampering.
  • Can I add cameras to my alarm system?
    Yes, you can add an indoor, outdoor or video doorbell cameras to your intrusion alarm system and you can even control it from your smartphone. You’ll get instant alerts anytime your camera detects motion. You can watch live activity and share clips from virtually anywhere with our mobile app.
  • How does Central Station Monitoring and Dispatch work?
    When your intrusion or fire sensors are triggered or you manually alert your system (panic button or code) for help, the monitoring center will automatically be notified. If there’s an emergency, our dispatchers will call you and alert emergency responders to your home so you don’t have to.
  • Do you provide integrated systems?
    Yes, we can provide standalone systems, or integrated. Systems we provide include the following: 1. CCTV (Video Surveillance) 2. Fire Alarm 3. Intrusion Alarm 4. Access Control 5. Intercom 6. Network We can provide any one, any combination, or integrated. On-Premise, In-Cloud, or combination. With or without mobile device support.
